In my opinion, Women for Women has a great potential of becoming a successful and profitable company. As online coaching gains increasing popularity, W4W aims to occupy an important market niche that is still relatively free of competition. Moreover, it addresses the increased demand among women to receive personal training and consultation. However, the most valuable part is that the company creates a special space just for women, and that purpose is clearly evident from the brand name. Therefore, Women for Women definitely deserves to be funded. The further detailed discussion provides more arguments in support of that decision.
Firstly, as it was already mentioned, the offered product is in high demand among women. It not only complies with the new philosophy of constant learning and improvement throughout one’s life but also serves as psychological support for women. Secondly, being an online company, W4W is not attached to a certain location. That will help to attract customers from different places without huge financial spending. Moreover, the company has the ability to grow fast as the necessity to invest in physical capital is minimal (Rosli et al., 2020). Next, the company is able to provide the service at a relatively affordable price as the expensive product may be a barrier for the customers.
Furthermore, W4W also provides security for investors. For instance, an external audit is a good way to assure shareholders that the company is financially stable. Moreover, moderate projections further increase the trust in the company founders. Besides that, the company is sustainable and positively affects the community, increasing overall well-being. Last but not least, the founders are highly passionate about changing the world through their product, bringing additional confidence that W4W would succeed.
Although there are many advantages that the company has, there are still some gaps that should be addressed. Therefore, I have the following questions for the founders:
- Why the company targets only women from 30 to 50 years old? Would people of other ages be able to purchase the product?
- It is expected that December and January would be very profitable for the company due to gift purchases. In that case, whom would the company target? Are men included?
- Whether company’s employees are going to work from office or their homes?
