In an organization, the ability of leaders to be present at the moment is reflected through their deep analysis of personal competencies and emotions and the assessment of the circumstances. When leaders feel their presence in the organization, they can identify their emotions and feelings associated with the work environment. In addition, they can view the operations of the company to understand what the true goals of the organization are and how they correlate with the personal purposes of the leader (Covelli & Mason, 2017). Consequently, this connection between private and corporate strategies demonstrates how leaders can be authentic.

Leadership can reflect authentic leadership making executives more aware of their decisions and honest in their actions. The ability of managers to be present at the moment enables them to observe their functions and their actions from the perspective of necessity and effectiveness. It allows them to make decisions and critically analyze the circumstances based on the comprehension of the benefits and needs (Covelli & Mason, 2017). Such an approach makes them more responsible and honest because leaders understand that their principles and beliefs guide their actions.

Authentic leadership can help organizations be more productive, increasing the motivation of employees. The aware attitude of executives inspires workers also to be honest in their actions and intentions. Moreover, seeing the leader’s example, they become more open to new ideas and thoughts, which may increase their ability to make correct and creative choices. Finally, authentic leadership enhances the job satisfaction of employees (Covelli & Mason, 2017). All these factors determine the role of this type of leadership in the increased productivity of the organization.
