The MARS model defines human behavior based on internal and external factors. It explains the influences on individual behavior in an organization. By describing the basic types of actions of employees in the organizational environment, it is possible to describe a basic behavior model and use it to explain individual behavior. Motivation, abilities, role perception and situational factors are the main aspects that influence the behavior of employees, which the model dictates.

The changes made in the department were fairly sudden, and employees were not ready for such stress. Although workers were warned, the exact date of implementation of modernization in the organization constantly changed, and therefore people remained in the dark. They could not adequately prepare for the planned changes, which, due to constant stress, decreased the motivation of employees. The role of stimulation and understanding can improve the contribution of knowledge within an organization required to complete tasks.

Some employees not only faced unpreparedness for the new system, but problems arose with the system after implementing the changes. People are motivated, but their productivity will be low if they are not supported by adequate work capacity (Garg, 2018). The bugs in the system made it difficult for employees to perceive, preventing not so much adaptation to changes as their effective rooting in the organization. Managers’ and employees’ actions are decided by their role experiences of what they should do corresponding to their roles and how others should act in their roles (Garg, 2018). The shifts meant that some workers who were used to doing things in one way now had to change the established way of working. The situation got out of control and slowed down the empowerment of employees. In connection with the above, the organization experienced a significant decrease in efficiency instead of the expected growth.
