People’s journey experience for a team member coming into the organization is of particular value for both employees and the company. Thanks to the study of this aspect, managers can get helpful information about the positive and negative aspects of working in the organization. This scientific paper will present an aspirational statement of one of the employees who has decided to leave the company and describes his path, which begins with attraction and ends with separation.

The life cycle of the personnel in the company is a way of presenting the experience of each person involved in the work of the organization. It perfectly conveys all the feelings, emotions, and impressions that individual experiences while in a team, interacting with managers and bosses, and performing specific work tasks. The most important contribution of the life cycle of employees is to provide information for the formation of the most successful and practical strategies to increase the loyalty and satisfaction of staff.

The first stage on my way to work in the company was the attraction stage. This stage is valuable as it lays the first impression of the organization and forms an idea of the staff, chapters, and future work in general. I was lucky enough to find out about the requirement of employees in this company through my friend, who described the environment in detail to me, who was present in the company. Moreover, I looked through the necessary information on the company’s online page and made sure that I would be happy to become a part of it. I especially remember the culture of the organization and how thoughtfully it paid attention to the importance of taking care of its staff.

Similarly, I was satisfied with the hiring process, as I felt the professionalism with which managers treat the hiring of new staff. I went through an interview and was given several assignments on different topics to understand my way of thinking and how quickly and efficiently I can find solutions for any task. Onboarding for me was a period when I faced some difficulties, but they did not relate to the company in any way but instead to dependence on me as a person. I may feel some embarrassment and discomfort when joining a new team, but the organization has done everything to make this transition as comfortable as possible for me. At this stage, I was introduced to my position, the necessary requirements for my work, and the people with whom I will interact during the entire period of my working activity. It is also worth adding that it was at this stage that it was possible to see how the company clearly follows its goals and values in relation to the organization of work and attitude toward staff.

The next stage of an employee’s life activity in the company is called the development stage. At this stage of work, there is constant motivation and encouragement of professional development among the team. I fully felt this transition after several months of working in the organization when there was a period of adaptation. In addition to the requirements for the performance of my functions, the company constantly offers various seminars and pieces of training that will help me become a better specialist. In addition, I was very motivated by my colleagues, with whom I was in direct interaction in the workplace. Therefore, I wanted to match them and be on the same level as them. The establishment of friendly relations also contributed to this process, as I constantly received various tips for improvement and, what is more valuable, sound criticism of my actions.

The above also contributed to the fulfillment of the retention stage, which is based on keeping the employees, ensuring their satisfaction, and maintaining the challenge in their roles. The corporate culture that has developed within the team also plays a significant role (Hickman & Silva, 2018). I can say with confidence that if not for the circumstances that forced me to make the decision to leave the company, I would have stayed in it, at least because of this indicator. There is no denying that sometimes I had difficulties communicating with some employees, but these conflicts were quickly resolved by managers. Moreover, in order to strengthen the corporate culture, various team-building activities were established in the company, which cannot but be noted as a positive aspect.

The last stage that I have to go through now is the separation stage. Due to personal circumstances, I had to make a decision to leave the company, which I cannot talk about without sadness. The organization in which I worked did everything to make this process painless and smooth for me. This is due to the fact that treating this process with equal importance as onboarding is critical. Thus, the employees leaving the workplace affects not only themselves but also the company and all its personnel. When the managers found out about my dismissal, I was even provided with a list of places where my professional skills would be helpful, which also left a positive imprint.
