Based on the obtained data, it can be concluded that the interviewed leader adheres to a model of a democratical leader.

As a sales manager in Kay & Sons company, the interviewee played a vital role in increasing sales. He applied sales skills in marketing to ensure the use of the best ways and strategies. He also practiced in their different products and departments, building up experience and strengthening confidence in his skills. The interviewee’s sales team achieved a 20% sales increase through various insights and fruitful ideas. Many employees volunteered to join the team due to the results it displayed, which increased the total number of team members to 200.

Ethics Impact on Interactions and Decision-Making in the Workplace

Interacting with others as a leader requires one to consider ethics. The consideration builds trust, shows integrity to others, and enhances workflow. Ethics provides moral guidelines toward transparency, respect, and decision-making. Using ethics in training enhances business values and improves workplace moral principles. Daily practice of ethics enhances trust and respect, breaking the dilemma window in the company. In the context of extended time frames, such as weekly, monthly, and yearly decision-making, the ethical practice requires leaders to broaden their scope and attempt to foresee the consequences of their actions. In doing so, he built a trustworthy team of people with the same ethical mindset. Finally, his leadership relied on structural, symbolic, and human resources frames to achieve democracy. Shared leadership is a collective growth strategy with an overall impact on individual, financial, and team development. Democratic leadership creates an essential and mutual collaboration in company growth, with each party contributing views and ideas. It is recommendable to apply strong democratic leadership in team working and company development projects.
